Description
This wire-work basket boasts a noble-looking family crest (unresearched) on the inside depicting a male lion in a shield with a female lion above. Below the cartouche is a crown with a gothic V. The bread basket has a swing handled action and for additional decorative highlights is shaped in a rope form. The base of the bowl has a sunburst design with decorative acanthus leaf foliage to round off a stunning piece of craftsmanship.
