Note: With out doubt the rarest piece of Matthew Boulton we have ever come across in 50 odd years. The workmanship is very sharp and the quality outstanding. Usually large meat dishes and covers are generally Victorian and more often than not married together later on. This example should be in a Museum. Dare I say it probably the best & rarest example possibly on the planet. So shot me if I am wrong!!!!!
