Description
A very collectable Geo III sugar basket made by the renowned lady silversmith Hester Bateman. The body of the basket is elegantly hand pierced with upper and lower bands of bright cut engraving in which sits an elegant cartouche with a crest of stallion’s head. The rim and foot have elegant beading for additional highlights. The handle of the basket is hinged. The basket has a blue glass liner.
