A fine early 19th century cylindrical drum mustard pot with a stylish applied handle. The hinged lid has elegant bands of galleried reed decoration and an ornate shell thumb piece. The body is plain formed for decorative contrast. The centre of the lid has a contemporary stylish crest for importance.
